Delete your GrainSolution account.
You can permanently remove your account and every piece of data tied to it at any time. There are two ways to do it — the in-app path below is the fastest.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
If you still have GrainSolution installed and can sign in:
- 1Open GrainSolution and sign in.
- 2Tap the gear icon (top-right on Home) to open Settings.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- 4Confirm twice. The deletion runs immediately — you’ll be signed out and dropped back to the login screen.
This is the fastest path. Everything happens instantly, server-side. No email round-trip.
Option 2 — Request via this form
Use this if you’ve already uninstalled the app, can’t sign in, or just prefer email. We process requests within 30 daysand you’ll get a confirmation when it’s done.
What gets deleted
Both options above are equivalent — they remove the same data permanently from our production database and storage. After deletion runs, the following are gone:
- Your sign-in account (email, password hash, Google OAuth link if used).
- Your profile (display name, province, unit preferences).
- Every grain ticket on your account — photo files, parsed fields, raw extraction history.
- Every field you’ve drawn or imported — polygons, crop history, planting + harvest dates, GPS pins, legal descriptions.
- Every share link you’ve created. Recipients who imported your fields will see their copies disappear automatically.
- Fields shared with you by other users (your local read-only copies).
- Spray records, multi-year crop rotation history, any in-app messages or app diagnostics tied to your account.
Each ticket and field is removed atomically— the database record and the underlying photo/PDF in storage are deleted together, with no intermediate window where one exists without the other. Enforced by a database trigger so it can’t drift apart in the future.
Retention & backups
The deletion runs immediately against the live database. Encrypted backups can persist for up to 30 days as part of our standard disaster-recovery rotation, after which they age out permanently. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
What is not deleted
We retain non-personal aggregate analytics (e.g., “tickets parsed per day” counts with no user attribution) and minimal financial records (e.g., if you ever paid us for a subscription, we keep invoice records for tax purposes — not currently applicable since GrainSolution is currently free). Anonymized crash reports already submitted to our error monitor cannot be selectively removed.
